Culture in Decline is a satirical yet serious social issues series that challenges modern cultural phenomena that have been normalized by society. Designed as a crude, “public access” TV style parody, each documentary episode tackles a different theme and guides the viewer toward a fresh perspective on current issues.
Common themes include Politics, Economics, Education, Security, Religion, Vanity, Governance, Media, Labor, Technology and other issues centric to our daily lives. Little is sacred in this series except for a detached benchmark of logic and reason - challenging the viewer to step out of the box of “normality” and consider our societal practices with a fresh eye.
Hosted by renowned filmmaker Peter Joseph of the “Zeitgeist” series, Culture in Decline is an obnoxious detour featuring sketch comedy and witty nonsense that pokes fun at a culture that just might be experiencing a vast decline.
The show also routinely features prominent special guests such as comedians Lee Camp and Katie Goodman; Emmy award winning actor Rick Overton (“Guy In a Tie”) and others, along with a core cast of unique talent.
